HISTORY
Godwin and Schultz Sales, Inc. (G & S) is the result of a merger between Bill Godwin/BBG and Associates, and, John Schultz/JWS Sales on December 1, 1990. BBG was a thirteen year old sales and warehousing agency owned by Bill Godwin. JWS was a seventeen year old sales agency owned by John Schultz.
G & S has five full-time outside salesmen, including one resident in Boise, ID., four full-time inside sales/customer service personnel, one part-time administrative person, a full-time warehouse manager with nine full-time warehouse personnel. With this twenty person staff, a
42,200 ft2 warehouse and a fully computerized operation, G & S brings the manufacturer the most complete selling organization in the industry devoted exclusively to Utah and Southern Idaho.PRINCIPALS
Bill and John
have over 50 years of combined industry experience. Bill worked for over thirteen years at IPS Corporation, most recently as the V.P./Director of Marketing for both Weld-On and Water-Tite product lines. His education includes a bachelor degree from UCLA (1977) and a Masters in Business Administration from Pepperdine University (1984), as well as numerous other industry related courses.John has been involved in the plumbing and HVAC industry for over thirty years. His father was president and owner of Lawson Supply here in Salt Lake City, which afforded John the opportunity to work many Summer, week-end and after school hours in the wholesale business. John attended Utah State University.
